A square onyx trinket box. The lid has a hinged metal (gold coloured) rim to the edge and a picture of Venice on the top. The colour shades from pale green at the front of the box to turquoise at the back giving the impression of sky colouring.
It measures 2 " approx. square with a circular space 1.25" diameter to hold tiny items, perhaps a ring or a pair of studs.
This is a previously owned item .There are some marks of wear on the metal rim.
