About us
This is a family business set up to make use of our experience in amateur theatre. The whole family has been involved at one time or another in all aspects of putting on a production, from performing on stage, to crewing, costume and prop making, lighting design, stage management, sitting on committees (sometimes literally) and selling programmes front of house. A most enjoyable part of being involved was finding special, appropriate cards and presents for those we worked alongside on each production, Traditionally in our drama society presents and mementoes were exchanged on the last night of a production, good luck cards on the first night.
We had so much fun finding all these little bits and pieces that we decided to see whether we could share our ideas and inspirations and here we are.
We hope you will stay and browse our pages, send us your stories or ask for help if you are stuck for a present for a particular character.
We want to develop a resource centre where you can find historical references, research ideas, and some informative e-books and website links
Our major influence is in musical comedy and dance, and we would like to be able to share our experience and the background knowledge we have gained over the years.
So please have fun browsing and send us your questions.
